Stepping Stones

I am starting this blog as a requirement of my class. I am trying to come up with ways and ideas to become a good teacher. I thought that I wanted to teach Kindergarten when I first started this course, but think that I can handle all Early Childhood grades. We all need help and a sounding board of ides that will help become great teachers. These are the four that i thought had the best resources and strategies.

1.  Teacher Vision is a good tool that has resources on how to organize a classroom. This website list all of the elements that can contribute to classroom management with subtitles. For example, there are over eight resources that the teacher can use to get information on how to introduce them to your class. When you click on what you need it explains step by step what you need to do to introduce in your classroom. It also contains themes and subjects that can be used in lesson plans. http://www.teachervision.com

2.  Setting up your classroom and the layout is the best part of the beginning of school. This website shares tips on how to set up your class. It makes you think and even share ideas with other teachers. http://www.cornerstoneforteachers.com

3.  Laura Candler's Teaching Resources has hundreds of printables, interactive lessons, and activities for early elementary grades. Their is a virtual file cabinet and free classroom-tested resources. The resources and ideas on this classroom would help teachers create a classroom that is inclusive of all students. www.lauracandler.com
